Reiki Classes
Reiki is a soft, yet powerful, non-invasive energy healing system. Everything and everyone alive is made of energy, or Ki, but an attunement connects you to the Reiki energy in an increased capacity.
Once a person is attuned to the Reiki energy they are a channel for the rest of their lives.All they need do is have the intent of channeling Reiki and to place their hands upon someone to start the automatic flow of energy.
Reiki is and ancient system of healing and its modern day re-discovery, in the late 19th century, is credited to a man by the name of Mikao Usui. Read more about Mikao Usui and his story. There are three levels, or degrees, in Reiki healing.
Reiki Level 1
In the first degree, Reiki I, the attunement heals physical difficulties in the receiver and it is primarily used for self-healing. The attunement allows the receiver to perform a healing session on a client who is physically present. There is a clearing period of 3-4 weeks after the first attunement and many symptoms, of the Reiki energy at work, may manifest. The energy may start up unexpectedly and the person may feel out of balance. They may have mild physical detoxification symptoms and it is best to perform as many self-healing sessions as possible during this time. In Reiki I no symbols are learned but they are present and flow forth automatically when doing a healing session.
Reiki Level 2
The second degree, Reiki II, increases the receivers ability to channel the energy. It focuses on healing emotional, mental and karmic difficulties within the receiver. It is common for the clearing after this attunement to take several months and many old pattens or emotions may be released. Healing sessions with Reiki II are much stronger and the receiver learns methods to do long distance healings; (clients are not physically present).The receiver learns 3 of the Reiki symbols and can use them consciously during healing sessions.
Reiki Level 3

Reiki III is called the Masters/Teachers degree. The attunement for Reiki III focuses on healing the spiritual levels of the receiver. The energy flow is very strong in the receiver now and they are connected, as one, to the universal flow of Ki. Reiki III includes the learning of 2 more symbols and their use; deeper understanding of Reiki healing and how to pass attunements; as well as a set of principles to live by.
